Come join a career you can grow in and a culture you can run with.The Warehouse Specialist plays a key role in Sunrun Operations by ensuring material is safely and accurately stored in our warehouses and then deployed to our installers. This role is responsible for receiving, shipping, building jobs, inventory accuracy, and warehouse cleanliness.Responsibilities/The ImpactMaintain an organized, standard warehouse layout and manage all material movement throughout the warehouse. Ensure the safety and security of all warehouse inventory and equipmentOperate a forklift to unload shipments, process receipts, and put away material to maintain inventory accuracy.Perform transactions in Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Tool to account for material movement including: receiving, stocking, issuing, and returning to vendorDrive inventory accuracy and integrity through daily cycle counts and physical inventory checksMaintain auditable records and operate based on defined standards in the shipping and receiving of all warehouse materialsWork with our branch planning and replenishment teams to offer feedback on appropriate stocking levels as neededDeliver materials through accurately pulling and staging job kits in advance of install scheduled dates and pull misc. materials through our will call processCollaborate with the Electrification Operations partners in the field to ensure fast morning mobilization of our installation crews (i.e. loading jobs the night before, supporting drop shipping, etc.)Partner with the Service Team to ensure accurate and timely processing of material that needs to be returned to the vendorQualifications/How You Will Be SuccessfulWarehouse Management Software (WMS) experience, Oracle experience preferredBonus points for previous Warehouse or forklift operation experienceIdentify as a problem solver who can proactively take the lead in forwarding new insights or work methods, with the ability to quickly adapt or change prioritiesUnderstand the importance of safety policies and procedures, identify and report safety hazards and encourage others to value safety in their workProven record of working well in a group, encouraging a team climate, coordinating with others and offering help where needed to reach a common goalPhysical DemandsRequires extended periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkwardAbility to stand for entire shift on concrete floorsAbility to regularly lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and 50+ lbs with assistanceAbility to work in a non-climatically controlled environment throughout the yearAbility to work safely in a warehouse environmentAbility to work alone and self superviseAbility to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of workAbility to interact with co-workers and participate in meetingsAbility to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50lbs frequently unassisted)Able to hear alarms and commands from a distanceAble to use ladders and step stools to access materialsAble to operate a forklift, and push and pull hand carts and hand trucksAble to read labels and identify symbolsRecruiter: Tommy Carmichael (View email address on click.appcast.io)Starting salary/wage for this opportunity: $18.03 to $24.04Compensation decisions will not be based on a candidate's salary history.
