Customer Service Associate I Family Dollar is looking for a Customer Service Associate to provide excellent shopping experiences for all customers. This role is part of our Family Dollar retail team. Duties Assist customers with questions and recommendations Conduct sales transactions and operate assigned cash register Maintain cash security and uphold company asset protection Keep the store well‑stocked, including restocking and recovering merchandise Assist with receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and replenishing stock while meeting productivity standards Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment by interacting professionally with customers, associates, and leaders Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash areas, and overall presentation Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs. from floor to height and sustain frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required Strong organizational and communication skills required Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills required Perks and Benefits Medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision insurance Employee Assistance Program Retirement plans Educational Assistance And much more!
