Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$2203.20/week –

Job Summary:
Provide acute nursing care in a high-volume emergency department setting, delivering timely and compassionate interventions to diverse patient populations. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and maintain patient safety throughout patient encounters.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on severity.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families about care procedures, medications, and follow-up plans.
• Maintain compliance with all certifications, safety standards, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years of current emergency department experience in a hospital setting.
• Possess valid Vermont RN license or valid Compact license.
• Hold active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Have completed Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Own reliable transportation and include current address in profile.
