About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years of experience required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS and CNOR preferred Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: 3 years of experience required. Epic experience is required. This position is open to travelers with 3 years of experience. Weekend coverage is required. Certifications must include BLS. ACLS and CNOR certifications are preferred. Candidates should have experience in ortho trauma, craniotomy, and trauma cases. Call is required, with 2 weeknights every 6 weeks and one weekend shift every month and a half. Local candidates are not accepted due to a 75-mile radius rule. Submission with proof of address is necessary. Maximum of 7 total days off during the 13-week assignment. The job requires prior charge experience and specific procedural skills. Strongly prefer scrub experience. Completeness of work history and references is essential for consideration. Candidates should have valid certifications and must provide a map showing directions from their permanent address to the contracted facility. It is necessary to have no employment gaps greater than 30 days within required work history. Epic experience is strongly preferred, and candidates without it may only be considered for difficult-to-fill positions. Candidates who cancel an assignment with fewer than 14 days' notice will be marked as Do Not Return in the system.
