Work 55 hours per week Monday - Friday 7:00A.M - 6:00P.M and Saturday 7:00A.M - 12:00P.M

Job Duties: Job duties include: Operate tractors to pack the silage and hay piles from the fall harvest. Tractor won't leave the worksite and will remain on the pile until the pile is complete; Operate tractors to unload and stack straw bales on site. Tractor won't leave the worksite; Liquid manure application by the use of tractors and manure hose within harvested fields of a 5-mile radius of the work site. Very minimal driving on community roads; September through November - Dry solids manure application by the use of payloaders and tractors with spreader attachments. Trucking of dry solids to fields will not be done by these workers. May have to work nights, possibly weekends. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath; maintaining of worksite and equipment; also cleaning location and equipment.

This job involves manual labor, must be able to lift 75/bs, extensive pushing and pulling, extensive sitting and walking, frequent stooping and bending over and repetitive movements.

Minimum Education Required

No High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum Experience Required

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed.

Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.

Job Benefits

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.

Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
