Your role will be essential to our success, and your efforts will influence our ability to provide treatment to our community.CompetenciesThe qualified candidate should: have familiarity with medication and uses; ability to communicate medication education to staff; ability to teach coping skills and gain and maintain trust; understand negative impact of mental illness and developmental disabilities; and have the ability to be an advocate for consumers.ResponsibilitiesProvide medication monitoringProvide emergency evaluation as neededParticipate in the development and revision of Comprehensive Service Plans (CSP)Provide training to staff, consumers, and family membersAdminister intravenous and non-intravenous medicationsMonitor for accuracy of and confirm physician's ordersCoordinate and provide on-going assessmentsAssist in crisis intervention situations as neededFace to face health care monitoringCollaborate with healthcare providersFlexibility to be pulled to other MH residential programsComplete supporting documentation for all of the above dutiesProvide on call support 24 hours for emergenciesOther duties as assigned.BenefitsCompetitive base salaryMedical and dental insuranceVision planRetirement planFlexible spending plansEXCELLENT time benefits for qualified positions!Opportunity for personal and career growth, including supervision towards professional licensure for eligible candidatesTeam-oriented environment – we practice the FISH!
