Business Office Manager (BOM) Assistant

Are you an Business Office Manager (BOM) (A/R) Coordinator Assistant (part-time) with experience in skilled nursing accounts receivable? The Business Office Manager (BOM) Assistant will assist the Business Office Manager (BOM) in managing the facility's accounts receivable system.

Responsibilities:
Prepare daily bank deposit for the General Account, and provide to Business Office Manager (BOM) for posting.
Prepare daily deposit for the Resident Trust Account.
Distribute Petty Cash from Trust Account to Residents.
Be prepared for State Survey regarding the trust Account.
Maintain Resident Trust Authorizations. Assist with Medicaid applications.
Obtain signatures on the Freedom of Choice once MDS Coordinator inputs the LOCD into the State System.
Mailing private statements after Business Office Manager (BOM) reviews.
Making private collection calls on outstanding payments.
Checking Consolidated Billing Invoices.
Mailing notices of Medicare Non Coverage once reviewed by Business Office Manager (BOM).
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred.
