Speech Language Pathologist in Surprise, AZ

Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working onsite at a school district just outside Surprise, AZ. This full-time contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, serving students from August through May. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team to support communication skills, empower student growth, and create a positive, inclusive environment.


Key Qualifications:

• Active Arizona State SLP License
• SLP Educator Certificate in good standing
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience is an advantage
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for supporting students of diverse backgrounds and needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a range of speech and language disorders
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in both individual and group settings
• Document progress, maintain compliance with district and state requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective support strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary case conferences
• Foster a welcoming, engaging environment that encourages student confidence
