Project Manager

The Project Manager will work cross‑functionally within the organization to manage and support all project management initiatives with a primary focus on delivering the organization’s critical priorities. The role partners closely with the Operations Support Department and collaborates with operations, customer service, finance, compliance, IT, and HR to drive company‑wide initiatives and department projects. Responsibilities Coordinate and collaborate with senior leaders to support prioritization and sequencing of programs and projects within the overall project portfolio and business strategies. Work closely with Project Owners to develop the project charter, budget, and schedule. Assist and support project owners with planning, progress tracking, and results monitoring once projects are approved. Manage all stakeholders involved with the project to keep it on schedule and within budget. Provide project support through frameworks, methodologies, best practices, templates, and tools. Promote and enforce a high level of engagement in accomplishing project deliverables, exceeding stakeholder expectations. Develop measurements for tracking progress, improvements, return on investment, and adherence to budget and schedule. Facilitate inter‑departmental meetings. Maintain a project document repository. Perform other duties as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering. 5+ years of project and portfolio management experience in an operations and service‑based organization, preferably in the waste management industry. Expert knowledge of process improvement techniques and methodologies. Demonstrated ability to drive and manage change. Excellent communication skills across all levels. Excellent collaboration and ability to build internal and external relationships. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and MS Project. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Preferred Qualifications MBA or MS Engineering. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Six Sigma/Lean certification or experience. Agile Project Management certifications or experience. Waste industry experience.
