Job Summary


The Warehouse Loader is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by loading delivery trucks, maintaining inventory, repackaging products, and ensuring a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to inventory rotation procedures, and the ability to safely handle materials while supporting efficient warehouse operations.


Job Responsibilities

• Load delivery trucks accurately according to assigned routes and order requirements.
• Verify truck loads for accuracy prior to dispatch.
• Select and stage products for shipment based on delivery requirements.
• Rotate inventory using First In, First Out (FIFO) practices and monitor product expiration dates.
• Clean and repackage products according to established warehouse procedures.
• Dispose of damaged or expired products after receiving proper authorization.
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper product handling and organization.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized by disposing of trash, sweeping floors, and operating floor cleaning equipment as needed.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with general warehouse, inventory, and maintenance activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Previous warehouse, loading, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to frequently walk and sit throughout the workday.
• Ability to occasionally stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Ability to use hands for handling materials and to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a moderate noise environment.
• Ability to meet visual requirements, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
