Working for our team, you can truly make a difference. We are currently looking for Machine Operators and Printing Assistants/Support to join our team. This role follows a 2‑2‑3 rotating schedule: Week 1: Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days Week 2: Off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days This two‑week cycle repeats continuously. Responsibilities: Operates a number of machines to help create labels and flexible packaging. Continuously checks for print and seam quality. Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification. Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary). Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them. Must understand basic printing and seam related defects. Attains and maintains all defined job objectives related to the planning and execution of all jobs and quick changes Assists in the performance of all external make-ready operations in preparation for changeover activities (changing from one label job to another) Assists in the performance of all external clean-up activities following changeover Cleans ink pans and ancillary equipment Strips plates from cylinders Locates dies to and from press May be required to work with press operator to view labels with assistance of strobe light Comply with quality assurance specifications of the customer and MCC May be required to complete quality assurance sheet and associated documentation Responsible for working overtime when needed and as assigned Related duties as assigned Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek). Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to use simple windows based applications. Must be able regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
