Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
A Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in patients. They develop personalized treatment plans to enhance speech, language, cognitive functions, and reduce aspirations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing abilities through comprehensive assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, and cognitive skills.
• Deliver therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques tailored to each patient's needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and monitor patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Texas State License or have a valid Texas Compact license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
