Summary This position is located in the Office of Response and Recovery, Business Management Office located in Washington, DC.The ideal candidate for this position has demonstrated experience in overseeing human capital: recruitment, position and personnel management and employee services (performance and awards management, time and attendance, and professional development training). Learn more about this agency Duties Help What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst performing duties as a first level supervisor within the Office of Response and Recovery (ORR), Business Management Office, Human Resources Management Branch (HRMB). Typical duties include:
- Providing day-to-day oversight of ORR recruitment, staffing, position management, performance management, professional development and training, and awards execution.
- Advising ORR leadership and partners on critical personnel factors, while identifying potential risks and challenges for effective personnel management and organizational success for ORR.
- Leading ORR leadership projects to identify and evaluate improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of ORR human capital operations.
- Overseeing workforce analyses and provides strategic advice to management on position effectiveness and improved utilization of organizational staffing resources and structure.
- Serving as a primary liaison between ORR and OCHCO. Routinely coordinating with the ORR-embedded Title V Human Resources Specialist (HRS).
- Managing the work of assigned staff members who carry out complex, highly technical and/or administrative workloads and analyses on a large scale, often involving all ORR Directorates.

- Supervising and administering the broad range of human resources/human capital functions.
