WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $100,000 - $150,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees

This position supports an upcoming government contract proposal and is contingent upon contract award and government approval. Candidates must meet all stated requirements and may be required to sign a Letter of Commitment (LOC).

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Systems Administrator - Senior

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• Ten (10) years specialized experience. At least four (4) years of which are concentrated, hands-on installing, configuring, maintaining and resolving issues with various software..

• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.

Certifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification (at least one of these)
  • COMPTIA Security+ CE
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • COMPTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
    • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Global Industriel Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
    • Global Information Assurance Certification (GAIC) Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
    • Certified Network Defender (CND)
    • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

OR

• DoD 8570 IAT Level III Baseline Certification (or at least one of these)
  • CompTIA Advanced security Practitioner with Continuing Education (CASP+ CE)
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional ( CISSP or Associate)
  • GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

AND

• Computing Environment Certification – At least one of the following:
  • 300-ICS Cybersecurity
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty
  • AWS Solutions Architect – Associate
  • AWS Certified solutions Architect – Professional
  • AWS Certified SystOps Administrator – Associate
  • GIAC certified Detection Analyst
  • GIAC Certified Window Security Administrator (GCWN)
  • Infoblox CORE DDI Configuration and Administration
  • International Society of Automation (ISA) Certified Control CCST Level 1
  • ICS Cybersecurity (ISC300)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified Solution Associate Windows Server 2016
  • Microsoft Certified Solution Expert: Cloud Platform and infrastructure
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Windows Server 2016

  • Microsoft 365 Certified Messaging Administrator Associate
  • MS 2016 Active Directory Identity and Networking

  • Okta Certified Administrator

AND

• Relevant Certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

Education

• Bachelor's of Arts/Bachelor's of Science

Clearance

• Secret with a T5 5 investigation

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links.
• Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems.
• Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues.
• Conducts capacity and performance analysis and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
• Increases system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment.
• Provides end user training.
• Provides recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
• Provides local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location. Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications. 
• Directs the work of other system administrators to provide the day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance.
• Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance. Performs vulnerability management.
