Working as Full-time Aerospace Quality Inspector, you must have a strong interest in overall business operations and enjoy working in a fast paced challenging environment. This position will provide assistance to our customers from our aerospace distribution facility located at 4301 Fortune Place, West Melbourne, FL 32904.The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Inspecting aerospace productKitting of hardware to customer specificationsAssisting sales and quality personnelManaging inventoryPlacing and fulfilling ordersReceiving and shipping inventoryPerforming deliveries with a company vehicleMaintaining the cleanliness/organization of work areaComplying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectationsParticipating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectivesLearning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainingsThe following skills and qualifications are required for this position:18 years of age or olderPossess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as neededExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient using Microsoft Office SuiteDemonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgencyWork independently as well as in a team environmentWillingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as neededHighly motivated, self directed and customer service orientedDemonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworkLift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbsMeet requirements to handle CUI/ITAR products and dataPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
