The Respiratory Care Practitioner is a valuable member of the healthcare team who demonstrates knowledge, skill, and professionalism when interacting with peers and patients. The RT must be able to provide age appropriate care to a diversified patient population. This individual must demonstrate knowledge of hospital policies and procedures as well as the AARC standards of practice.

• New Grad welcome and willing to train
• 2 years acute care hospital experience required; critical access hospital P referred
• Clinically Independent and experience working with all age groups - Required
• BLS Required
• ACLS Current ACLS certification or eligible for certification by National Board of Respiratory Care
• PALS and NRP certification or must be able to obtain within six (6) months of hire. Participation in continuing education program.
• Graduate from an approved/accredited Program of Respiratory Care and a current New Hampshire License/Registration is Required . Knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques for respiratory care.
• 25 bed rural hospital and you do go on transport

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• ACLS
• BLS (AHA)
• NBRC

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• New Hampshire

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : every other weekend, 7a-7p
On Call Requirements : will be on call 2-3 nights per week
