We are seeking a Locum Obstetrician/Gynecologist to begin as soon as possible for ongoing work near Westwood Hills, NC.

• Preferred Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off.
• Call Type: Beeper system.
• Practice Environment: Outpatient settings.
• Specialty Skills Required:
  • Low-risk pregnancies
  • Level I/Screening (viability)
  • Level II/Targeted (anatomic) Amniocentesis
  • Routine vaginal deliveries
  • Low forceps deliveries
  • Decision-making for cesarean sections
  • Complicated deliveries
  • C-sections
  • Breech deliveries
  • Multiple births
  • Abruptions
  • Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
  • Minor gynecological procedures: IUD insertions, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
  • Surgical gynecology:
    • Open and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (e.g., tubal ligation, LOAs, chromopertubation)
    • Operative/major procedures (including diagnostic): ectopic pregnancies, ovary removals, cystectomies, extensive LOAs.
• Average Deliveries Annually: Approximately 360.
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP.
• Licensure: Must be licensed in North Carolina.
• Electronic Medical Records: Athena.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days.
• Referral Bonus: $2000 for any referral who completes 160 hours of work.
• Compensation: Competitive rates with additional premiums for weeknight call and weekend call (6 regular hours per day when called in).
