Qualifications

• Physically and mentally capable of following instructions and performing manual labor, including lifting materials, assembling products, and diagnosing and resolving installation and service issues.

• Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical knowledge is preferred.

• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders and lifts.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug screening.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of residential garage doors and garage door openers.

• Complete all required paperwork accurately and submit customer payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Maintain the required inventory of parts and materials on the service vehicle according to the established inventory list.

• Supply and maintain the personal hand tools required to perform assigned duties while properly caring for all company-provided tools and equipment.

• Maintain a professional attitude and provide exceptional customer service while fostering positive working relationships with customers, coworkers, and management.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and maintain safe work practices at all times.

• Maintain a clean, professional appearance in accordance with the company uniform and grooming standards.

• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Identify opportunities for additional products or services and assist with field sales when appropriate.

• Communicate product concerns, customer feedback, and sales opportunities to supervisors, and provide recommendations for process or product improvements.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
