Graphic Designer | $15-$25/hour

Monday-Friday

A Sioux City area screen printing shop is seeking a talented and innovative Graphic Designer to join their creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing visually compelling designs that align with brand strategies and marketing objectives. Your expertise will support a wide range of projects, including digital art, branding initiatives, web and UI design, print advertising, and motion graphics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in visual design principles, proficiency with industry-standard tools, and an ability to translate concepts into engaging visual content that resonates across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and create original designs for digital platforms, print materials, branding assets, and marketing campaigns.
• Develop logos, icons, and visual identities that enhance brand recognition and consistency.
• Produce motion graphics and video content using Adobe After Effects and other animation tools to elevate multimedia presentations.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to craft compelling visual narratives that support promotional strategies.
• Manage color schemes, typography, layout design, and typesetting to ensure aesthetic coherence across all deliverables.
• Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, CorelDRAW, and InVision to produce high-quality visuals.
• Implement responsive web design principles using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, and content management systems to optimize user experience.
• Conduct photo manipulation and photography editing to enhance visual storytelling.
• Ensure color management standards are maintained for accurate reproduction across digital and print media.
• Support sign manufacturing projects by preparing production-ready artwork.
• Assist in presentation creation for client pitches or internal reviews with polished layouts and visual aids.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital art, branding, UI/UX design, motion graphics, and print advertising.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), After Effects, Figma, Sketch, CorelDRAW, and InVision.
• Knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript; experience with WordPress or other content management systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography principles, layout design, and typesetting techniques.
• Ability to produce high-quality illustrations and photo manipulations tailored to project needs.
• Familiarity with sign manufacturing processes and production design is a plus.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly to clients or team members.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Compensation & Pay:

• $15-$25/hr
• Paid every Friday
