Summary The Client Relationship Manager, Inside Sales, is responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities that are not actively progressing within the current pipeline. This person conducts targeted outbound prospecting, reconnects with former prospects and customers, researches industry and event-market leads, and qualifies opportunities before transitioning them to the Client Relationship team. Success requires disciplined follow-up, strong written and verbal communication, sound sales judgment, accurate CRM activity, and a service-oriented approach that reflects Freeman's commitment to its customers. This position will support Growth (Sales) under our Show Organizer Event team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 3-4 days per week. This position is based out of Orlando, FL. Review stale, closed, dormant, and past opportunities to identify prospects that may be ready for renewed engagement. Research and develop leads from industry lists, event calendars, associations, referrals, approved databases, and other lead-generation platforms. Conduct consistent outbound outreach through phone, email, and other approved channels to establish contact and determine interest. Qualify prospects by confirming the event or business need, timing, location, scope, decision-making process, current provider, and next step. Create or update complete and accurate lead, contact, account, and opportunity records in Salesforce or other company-provided CRM systems. Prepare qualified opportunities for handoff to the appropriate Client Relationship team member, including relevant background, discovery notes, customer needs, timing, and agreed next action. Coordinate warm introductions and remain involved through the handoff to support a smooth customer experience and clear ownership. Maintain an organized cadence for follow-up and ensure promising leads do not become inactive without a documented disposition or next step. Partner with Client Relationship leaders and sellers to identify target markets, priority accounts, upcoming renewals, and pipeline gaps. Share recurring market feedback, competitive observations, lead-source trends, and customer needs with sales leadership. Develop a working knowledge of Freeman's solutions and recognize opportunities to connect prospects with the appropriate Freeman subject-matter expert. Represent Freeman professionally in every interaction and provide responsive service to prospects, customers, and internal partners. Follow Freeman policies and procedures related to pricing, customer information, CRM documentation, communications, and data use. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience. Three or more years of experience in inside sales, business development, lead generation, account development, customer service, or a related role preferred. Experience with outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and CRM-based activity management. Experience in events, exhibitions, hospitality, audio visual, or a related service industry is a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Salesforce experience preferred.
