Forklift Driver

The Forklift Operator will transport within the warehouse materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations. Shifts - 1st shift: Mon - Fri 6:30am to 3:30pm (Hours may changes as production ramps up) Saturdays - As needed by customer demand. Duties/Responsibilities: Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations. Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information. Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy. Confirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule. Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids). When problems arise, resolves issues with contractors or vendors. Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Hands-on commitment to getting the job done. Outstanding attendance and punctuality Multi-tasking Time management skills Ability to lift up to 20-25lbs when needed. Having the ability to push, pull, lift, bend and stand throughout the shift. Team player with strong communication skills Be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen and background. Steel Toe shoes required. Education and Experience: At least two years of related experience in warehousing or manufacturing required. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 20-25 pounds at a time. Must wear safety gear, such as gloves when handling box cutters or similar tools. This a Second Chance Employer. #PoolerBranchCA
