Experienced Design Engineer - Land Development - Austin

Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer with experience in land development to join our dynamic team in Central Texas. This position is ideal for a civil engineering professional early in their career who is ready to take the next step by working on a variety of land and site development projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Contribute to the design of land and site development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design. Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and reports with support from senior staff. Coordinate with internal team members, subconsultants, and permitting agencies. Assist in preparing submittals and responding to review comments from municipalities and other stakeholders. Attend internal and external project meetings, including with clients and regulatory agencies. Support the mentoring of junior engineers and CAD designers as needed. Work under the supervision of a licensed engineer with the opportunity to advance toward licensure. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program. 2–5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in land or site development. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required. Actively pursuing Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Texas. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiar with local (Texas) development standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
