Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The Surgical Technologist will prepare the operating room, sterilize and set up instruments and equipment, maintain sterile fields, anticipate surgeon needs, pass instruments, and assist with patient positioning and specimen handling to support safe, efficient surgical care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of OR/Surgical Technologist experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-volume community hospital operating room environment with a variety of case types including general surgery, GYN, plastics, orthopedics, and bariatrics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred specialty experience in Orthopedics, Vascular, Robotics, and Plastics.
• Experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 09:00-21:30.
• Schedule: Days.
• Facility operates 14 ORs with average case volume of 35-40 cases per day, mix of inpatient and outpatient procedures.
• On-site OR scrubs provided and free employee parking available.
