Job Description

Works as liaison between supply chain and clinical end users. Works closely with value analysis councils to find utilization management and standardization opportunities.

ExperienceThree years of related experienceOne year of experience in managing and supervising staff Preferred QualificationsExperience in the healthcare industry EducationBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field Certification SummaryNo professional certifications required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProven partnering skills to establish and maintain strong, positive working relationships with internal and external customers and within the departmentDemonstrated project management experienceStrong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and meet critical timelines with minimal supervisionStrong customer service orientation, including consistent and timely follow-up on issues and communicationsAbility to inspire confidence, diffuse tension, and act as a change agent Job Responsibilities 1.Evaluates identified supply variation for clinical justifications and makes recommendations on standardization practices where applicable.2.Initiates/leads conversations with physicians and clinical staff around standardization.3.Leads evidence-based product evaluation process.4.Provides guidance and oversight during product evaluation process.5.Provides clinical guidance on substitutions during backorder situations.6.Trains value analysis committee members to manage, participate in, and collect data for product evaluations.7.Assist Supervisor and/or Manager with development of staff by: being available to teammates, acting as a resource to help complete complicated/complex tasks, providing on the job training to team, and seeking out opportunities to become actively involved in staff workflow and development.8.Provide Supervisor and/or Manager feedback on staff performance, educational needs, and workflow status.
