The Role: Our site in Bedford, MA is seeking an Industrial Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. As an Industrial Engineer Co-Op at Entegris, you will support initiatives to optimize manufacturing and materials processes within a high-tech production environment. What You’ll Do: Evaluate current processes and identify improvements opportunities. Conduct time studies and develop capacity models for critical equipment's and processes. Support daily Gemba walks and improve our SOPs. Assist with maintaining and updating master data in SAP. Participate in projects aimed at reducing cycle time, scrap and improving productivity. Use Power BI, Excel, Copilot to build visualization dashboards to translate data into actionable insights. What We Seek: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Familiarity with Industrial Engineering concepts and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and presentations. Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization tools. Experience with or willingness to leverage Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled productivity tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt to diverse team environments and organizational cultures. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative. Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field. Expected graduation date December 2027 - May 2029. Eligibility: Must be a currently enrolled student. Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June. Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing and able to comply with clean room gowning requirements and work in a clean room manufacturing environment as required to support project activities. Compensation: $20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
