Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring Must-Have: Current certifications Description: Provide compassionate and effective care to patients during labor and delivery. Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure safety and well-being. Administer medications and interventions as needed during the labor process. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on the labor process and postpartum recovery. Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations and complications. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions. Uphold high standards of clinical practice and patient care. Participate in continuous education and training to enhance professional skills.
