Sales Manager

Lindsay Precast

Role Description The Division Sales Manager leads our Outside Sales team and owns the top-line for the division. Reporting to the General Manager, you will set the sales strategy, build and develop the team, forecast accurately, and grow long-term customer relationships. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who is energized by being in the field with customers and reps, and equally comfortable building the plan that gets us to the number. What You’ll Do Lead the Team Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a high‑performing outside sales team. Set clear goals, coach to them, and hold regular 1:1s and team meetings to monitor progress. Identify skill and knowledge gaps and build development plans to close them. Create a culture of accountability, urgency, and customer focus. Drive the Business Establish annual sales objectives by forecasting and developing quotas by region, territory, and product line. Project sales volume and profit for existing and new products, and adjust plans as conditions change. Develop and implement sales strategies that grow share with existing customers and open new markets. Track, analyze, and communicate key metrics and business trends to leadership. Win and Keep Customers Own the relationship with major accounts; meet regularly with key decision-makers. Source and qualify new leads; partner with reps to advance and close opportunities. Research customer needs and translate them into solutions our team can sell and deliver. Represent Lindsay Precast at trade shows and industry events and feed customer insights back to product development. What You Bring Required 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota. 3+ years leading and developing an outside sales team. Demonstrated ability to build territory plans, accurate forecasts, and sales budgets. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with executive-level audiences. Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel as needed to be in front of customers and in the field with reps. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field. Equivalent sales leadership experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience selling into infrastructure, utilities, construction, data centers, or other industrial markets. Familiarity with precast concrete, building products, or engineered‑to‑order manufacturing.
