Registered Nurse Ambulatory (RN) - Pediatric Care-Castleton (North)

Make a Difference The Ambulatory Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Castleton Pediatric Care team, conducting duties such as: phone triage, patient education, scheduling appointments, prescription refill, referrals, prior authorizations, care coordination, limited direct patient care on occasion, and other related tasks as needed. The RN will work onsite in the Castleton office, but will also be able to work from home one day a week once training has been completed. The office is located on the north side in Indianapolis, Indiana. Please note Jane Pauley Community Health Center (JPCHC) will be assuming operations of this Castleton pediatrics practice by mid-2024. The nurse will have the opportunity to continue their role as an employee of JPCHC. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). One year or more of nursing experience required. Pediatric experience highly preferred. Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred. Phone triage experience a plus. Excellent communication skills. Excellent team skills.
