Job Description

We are seeking a Loan Origination Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in loan origination, LoanIQ, legal documentation review, and loan syndication/commercial lending and a proven ability to facilitate end-to-end loan closings and drive stakeholder alignment for timely, accurate execution .

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Originations, Client, Relationship Managers, Treasury, Operations, and Credit Underwriters to facilitate loan documentation and closing.
• Review and interpret legal documentation and provide operational feasibility guidance to Originations and Credit Underwriters.
• Engage with clients to gather necessary items for closing and manage expectations throughout the process.
• Prepare and dispatch documentation packages, ensuring compliance with credit and asset conditions.
• Provide seamless support from mandate to close, applying critical thinking to anticipate business needs.
• Contribute to projects that improve processes and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Expertise in loan origination or a closely related field with 2+ years of experience, including conflict resolution through collaborative solutions.
• Advanced strategic planning with sound resource allocation decisions.
• Strong critical thinking for evaluating loan transactions and enabling informed decision-making.
• Proficiency in time management and organization to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Demonstrated leadership and execution to drive end-to-end deals, align stakeholders, and deliver consistent outcomes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in financial services using AI/ML to enhance lending processes and decision-making.
• Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills to foster collaboration.
• Proven change management experience adapting services to evolving market conditions and technologies.
• Continuous improvement and process automation expertise to optimize workflows.
• Ability to apply market product knowledge to align lending services with industry trends and client needs.
• Skilled in developing and delivering presentations for stakeholder communication.

• Bachelor's in Finance or relevant experience
• Fresh graduates are welcome with internships in finance or accounting

Additional Details:

• Role is RTH. Post-conversion grade: 502 or 601 depending on experience.
• Work location: Charlotte, NC. In-office presence: 100%.
• Work schedule: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with peak times at month-end and quarter-end. Occasional ad hoc overtime.
• Interview process: One round with Hiring Manager and Team Lead. ED optional.
• Not eligible for JPMC employer-sponsored immigration support.
