Make a difference in students’ lives by providing essential psychological support at two welcoming middle schools. This in-person contract role spans the exciting 2026–2027 school year, beginning in January and running through late May. You'll step into a key position, providing coverage for two maternity leaves—first at one middle school, then transitioning to another—helping students thrive as they navigate critical academic and personal development milestones.

What You Need to Bring:

• Valid Ohio School Psychologist license
• Experience conducting assessments, counseling, and consultation in educational settings
• Strong understanding of middle school student needs and developmental stages
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to supporting students, families, and staff with empathy and professionalism

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive psychological services to middle school students
• Conduct evaluations and write reports for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and related service providers in the special education process
• Participate in IEP and intervention meetings, contributing insight and recommendations
• Offer short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Rotate between school sites as directed, adapting seamlessly to each environment's unique culture and needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district standards
