Technical Program Manager

Technical Program Manager ILocation: Fremont, California (Remote)Compensation: $66 - $76 HourlyRole OverviewThe main function of a Technical Program Manager is to provide successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across a group of projects and related activities. This role involves program-level strategic planning, interaction with executive-level management, complex issue resolution, and team building.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget.Oversee project scope definition, requirements gathering, time estimating, project schedule development, and project status reporting.Manage issue and risk management, contingency planning, and communications across multiple organizational levels.Manage internal and matrixed teams that serve on projects to deliver systems and systems enhancements.Facilitate agile squad ceremonies such as stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives to maintain delivery cadence.Track and unblock cross-squad and cross-functional dependencies in matrixed environments.Manage release gate-keeping, validating quality and readiness criteria prior to production deployments.Translate business priorities into engineering-ready requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery timelines.Own recurring cross-project status and risk reporting for stakeholders and leadership.Coordinate delivery across AI/automation and enterprise support tooling platforms.Lead program knowledge transfer and documentation to ensure delivery continuity.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.Experience with project estimating, project scheduling, and customer interaction and management.Proven people management and team-building skills.Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.Ability to learn business processes and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization.Ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications and business functions.Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.Experience with the software development lifecycle.Proficiency with Word.Preferred QualificationsAn MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred.PMP or PMI certification.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
