Senior Accountant

We're partnering with a well-established organization in the logistics and transportation industry to identify an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, hands-on environment while making a meaningful impact on financial operations. What You’ll Do: Lead month-end and year-end close activities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations Partner with external CPAs and auditors during audits and financial reviews Ensure GAAP compliance and strengthen internal controls Utilize ERP systems to support accounting operations and reporting Create financial reports and perform data analysis using advanced Excel Support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems (Sage 300, Sage, Epicor, Oracle, or similar) Hands‑on experience working with external auditors and CPAs Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in logistics, transportation, or trucking industry is a plus Background in financial reporting, process improvements, and internal controls Why Join?
