Auditor

Whitecap Search is seeking a skilled professional to review and prepare audited financial statements, ensuring full footnote disclosure in accordance with GAAP and/or a modified basis of accounting. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of audit planning and risk assessment, and have the ability to lead audit engagements and communicate effectively with clients.

Job Function

• Review and prepare audited financial statements with full footnote disclosure by GAAP and/or modified basis of accounting.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of audit planning and risk assessment.
• Prepare quarterly financial reports and related schedules for presentation at Board of Trustee Meetings.
• Run audit engagements and communicate effectively with clients.
• Report on asset utilization and audit results, recommending changes in operations and financial activities.
• Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
• Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and adherence to accepted accounting procedures.

Job Requirements

• 2 years of auditing experience.
• CPA is desirable for career advancement.
