Compensation: $60,000–$120,000+ Annually | Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
Schedule: Full-Time | Closed Sundays

McGrath Family of Dealerships is looking for motivated Sales Consultants who know how to connect with people, build relationships, work toward goals, and stay driven in a fast-paced environment.

Servers, bartenders, hospitality professionals, cell phone and wireless sales representatives, retail sales professionals, customer service professionals, and current or former athletes are encouraged to apply. These backgrounds develop many of the same skills our successful Sales Consultants use every day: communication, relationship building, teamwork, resilience, competitiveness, multitasking, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Prior automotive sales experience is  not required . We provide training, coaching, and a proven sales process. You bring the work ethic, personality, competitive drive, and willingness to learn.

Why Your Experience Transfers

Servers & Hospitality Professionals: You already know how to read people, build rapport quickly, multitask, provide excellent customer service, make recommendations, and create an experience that keeps customers coming back.

Cell Phone & Retail Sales Professionals: You understand consultative selling, product knowledge, asking questions, recommending solutions, handling objections, meeting sales goals, and working in a commission or performance-driven environment.

Athletes & Former Athletes: You understand coaching, discipline, competition, accountability, teamwork, resilience, and what it means to continuously improve your performance.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with different personalities
• Competitive, goal-oriented, and motivated by performance
• Coachable and able to apply feedback quickly
• Self-motivated with the discipline to stay productive without constant supervision
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Resilience and the ability to stay positive and productive through rejection
• Professional, dependable, and accountable
• Comfortable learning new products, technology, CRM systems, and sales processes
• Ability to work Saturdays; dealerships are closed Sundays
• Consistent work history within the past two years
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

What You'll Do

• Build relationships with customers and help them find the right vehicle for their needs, lifestyle, and budget
• Ask thoughtful questions, listen to customer needs, and recommend personalized solutions
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives while developing strong product knowledge
• Follow a proven sales process while developing your own authentic communication style
• Communicate with customers in person, over the phone, through text, email, and other digital channels
• Manage customer relationships and sales opportunities through CRM tools and consistent follow-up
• Handle questions and objections with confidence, professionalism, and persistence
• Build repeat business and referrals by delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Work toward individual sales goals while contributing to a competitive, team-oriented environment
