This position is in Cargill's protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.Job Location: Wyalusing, PAJob Type: Full TimeShift(s) Available: 1stCompensation: $23.10 - $39.00/hrPrincipal AccountabilitiesMaintain process and industry standards and specificationsSafety, health and environmentEffectively and safely operates standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools and basic electrical testing equipmentPerform preventative maintenance up to and including Annual PM'sRead and understand mechanical and electrical schematics without issueComplete minor troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical related issues without direct supervisionFollow prescribed safety rules and regulation as well as other departmental policies and procedures. Help develop proper safety techniquesLocate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instrumentsUnderstand and certify in LOTOIdentify follow-up work requiredAcquire planned materials, tools and documentation for planned work, and work order information for reactive workInvestigate job site if required – determine scope of work (reactive work)Prepare work site – scaffolding, safety, etcPerform maintenance taskRespond to interruption work from immediate supervisorMove to next job after completion or as directed by Maintenance SupervisorWith the Maintenance Supervisor, resolve problems as needed to perform workComplete closeout activities including, tool accountability / parts reconciliation, sanitation tagging / notification to production, return unused materials and tools, functional operations test complete, and arrange for PdM validationComplete, sign and return hardcopy Work Order to Maintenance Supervisor complete with; work description, symptoms, as found, as left, start / finish time, and labor hours and note deficiencies, delays, any job plan feedbackEffectively inform through written communication daily pass-downs issues and actionsPromote and assist with REPI eventsAny other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsLegal to work in the US18 yrs old or olderAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjectsPreferred QualificationsPrevious Cargill experienceIndustrial maintenance experience or completed training for Industrial Maintenance mechanicPlease note that this position does not include relocation reimbursementEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet
