Supplier Quality Engineer

To ensure high-quality product delivery from suppliers, the full-time remote Supplier Quality Engineer will evaluate supplier performance, conduct audits, and analyze defect data while collaborating with cross-functional teams in either Chicago, IL or Los Angeles, CA. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and assess supplier performance, implementing corrective and preventive action plans to resolve quality issues Conduct supplier audits and participate in Production Process Verifications (PPVs) and PPAP review processes Analyze supplier defect data to identify trends and drive preventative measures while fostering a Zero Defect culture Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 2-4+ years of relevant experience or 6-8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree Strong analytical skills and experience with 8D/RCCA activities Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including GD&T Experience in supplier development and a strategic mindset in quality management
