More than 2,500 team members at more than 70 Tidelands Health locations bring our healing mission to life each day. **A Brief Overview** The LPN participates in the provision of nursing care by performing specific activities and technical procedures as delegated by a Registered Nurse. **What you will do*** Planning and managing patient care according to each patient’s needs* Interviewing patients and recording their medical history* Obtaining patient vital signs and escorting patients to their rooms* Administering injections of medications* Verifying that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately* Observing and recording patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments **Education Qualifications*** Diploma as a Practical Nurse **Experience Qualifications*** Clinical LPN experience Preferred **Skills and Abilities*** Works with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers.* Epic experience preferred.* Strong PC skills preferred. **Licenses and Certifications*** Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
