Maintenance Worker

Summary The Maintenance Worker will perform upkeep tasks such as machinery repairs, facility maintenance, and cleaning. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical systems, hydraulic presses and systems, CNC machine repair, injection molding machines, and carpentry. Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, diagnosing faults, malfunctions, and performing repairs. The candidate should be well‑organized with strong general repair skills. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair or maintenance Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure machinery continues to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues and ensure systems are working properly Repair machines, equipment, or structures using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches Do minor repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets, unclogging drains, or repairing doors and fences Monitor boiler systems, HVAC, and other building systems to ensure they are functioning properly Order supplies needed for cleaning and maintenance Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and organized work areas Coordinate with a team of workers and other professionals during repairs, renovations, or facility expansions Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention All other duties and responsibilities as assigned or needed Qualifications Proven experience as a maintenance worker or similar position Basic knowledge of plumbing, hydraulics, and electrical systems Experience working with hand and electrical tools Ability to read technical manuals and drawings Very good communication and interpersonal skills Physical stamina and dexterity Education And Experience High school diploma or equivalent 4-5 years of experience Experience with plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC Practical knowledge and skills in maintenance and repairs of buildings, facilities, and equipment Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues Communication Skills Good verbal (clear and concise) and written communication skills Ability to give and receive feedback Active listening Other Skills And/Or Abilities Attention to detail Problem solver Good time management Team player Safety oriented Good organizational skills Flexible Work Hours Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm #J-18808-Ljbffr
