Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license in good standing, required at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Trauma Level 1 ER experience is not required, though first-time travelers must have Level 1 ER experience to be considered
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Travel experience is preferred but not required
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a travel nurse
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration; RTO requested after submission will not be approved
• RTO exceeding one week will not be approved except under special circumstances
• Candidates must have a clean licensure history — any licensure hits will result in disqualification
