Final Packaging Associate

Position Summary:

The Final Packaging Associate is responsible for packaging, labeling, inspecting, and preparing finished food products for shipment while ensuring quality, food safety, and production standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Package and label finished products according to specifications.
• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and packaging defects.
• Verify labels, lot codes, and expiration dates.
• Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Pack products into cases and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a food production environment and wear required PPE.

Reports To: Packaging Supervisor or Production Manager.

• Packaging Experience
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
