Love your job.The Analog Field Applications Engineer (AFAE) is responsible for partnering with Sales and providing Analog related technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The AFAE proactively identifies current products and/or creative solutions to solve existing customer projects and create new functionality/opportunities. In this role, the AFAE uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to gain credibility and develop relationships with customers.Primary responsibilities include:Collaborate with sales to grow TI's analog revenue with a targeted customerWork with the sales team to prioritize and target key and emerging accounts for TI growth opportunitiesTexas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.QualificationsMinimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering or related degree3+ years of relevant experience in power electronics including experience in applications support of power productsAbility to run simulations, and create/ review schematics and board layoutAbility to help customers debug board level issuesPreferred qualifications:Strong fundamentals in DC/DC power, especially on multiphase controller and solid understanding of control-loop topology.Hands-on experience working on Data Center power solution especially on multiphase controller, DrMOS/Power Stage Experience supporting customer design from schematics/layout review through system validation, production with the ability to troubleshoot complex system-level power issuesStrong communication skills and the ability to proactively drive customer activityDemonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryAbility to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentDemonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationshipsFamiliar with various GPU/ASIC/CPU VCORE Test tool and planExperience with core rail design for AI/Data center is plusStrong understanding of PMBus/AVSBus or similar digital power interface is preferredAbout the organizationTI does not make recruiting or hiring decisions based on citizenship, immigration status or national origin.
