Property Manager - Baltimore, MD Responsible foroverseeing the day-to-day operations, including tenant screening, lease management, rent collection, maintenance coordination, addressing tenant concerns, and ensuring compliance with local regulations, all while maximizing property value and tenant satisfaction. Key responsibilities Tenant Management Screening potential tenants through background checks and credit reports Negotiating lease agreements and ensuring compliance with rental terms Collecting rent payments on time and managing late rent collections Addressing tenant complaints and concerns promptly Handling tenant turnover, including move-in and move-out inspections Property Maintenance Conducting regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs Coordinating repairs and maintenance with contractors Overseeing emergency repairs and addressing urgent issues Managing preventative maintenance schedules Financial Oversight Setting rental rates based on market analysis Preparing and managing property budgets Tracking expenses and income related to the property Monitoring property performance and identifying areas for improvement Legal and Compliance Ensuring adherence to local landlord-tenant laws and regulations Handling eviction procedures when necessary Staying updated on legal changes impacting property management Marketing and Leasing Advertising vacant units to attract new tenants Showing properties to potential tenants Managing online property listings Required skills A minimum of three years of experience as a Property Manager or Area Manager in multifamily housing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tenants and contractors Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Financial literacy to track expenses and manage budgets Problem-solving abilities to address tenant issues and maintenance concerns Knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws and regulations Basic understanding of property management software Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr Career Strategies
