MRI Technologist

Role: MRI Technologist responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce 3D images for diagnostic purposes, assisting in training students and technologists, and performing intravenous contrast injections, including gadolinium administration. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians to determine protocols and procedures. Complete MRI exams, ensuring high-quality images for review. Record patient information, medical history, and test results accurately. Review patient history for contraindications such as ferrous implants. Perform venous punctures using universal precautions when administering contrast media. Follow safety guidelines and utilize safety tools and techniques. Maintain and restock examination and inventory areas. Assist in training and ensure patient comfort during procedures. Qualifications & Skills Preferred Associate's Degree in MRI and radiology certification. 1+ year MRI experience preferred. Certification from ARRT-MR or ARMIT within one year. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Willingness to travel up to 20%.
