Position Summary We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to oversee the San Antonio, TX territory in this unique community‑based opportunity. Starting salary is $75,000 per year with an earning potential of a six‑figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor. New hire training will be held in‑person at our Phoenix, AZ campus. Responsibilities Strategy and execution: consistently identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory, building awareness of our online academic programs for education, healthcare and business and driving inquiry generation. Partner and influencer: provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth through in‑person, phone or email interactions. Heart and hustle: support prospective students through the admissions process, guiding them toward a successful online learning experience in a community‑based position with ambitious targets. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree required. No delinquent or default on a federal student loan; credit report must reflect current payments if in a rehabilitation program. Must live within 30 miles of San Antonio, TX. Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities while traveling. Clear communication skills with strong writing, speaking and listening abilities. Self‑motivation and drive to succeed, taking ownership of time with students. High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy when coaching diverse students. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, a clean driving record and flexible schedule to accommodate extensive travel. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; computer literacy required.
