Job Position: Composite Technician Location: Orange City, IA 51041 Pay Rate: $18.00/hr Shift: 6AM - 6:30 PM Weekend shift 6 AM - 6:30 PM Friday, Saturday, Sunday (only work 36 hours but get paid for 40!) Description: Job Summary: Responsible for hand layup and fabrication of advanced composite materials, ensuring products meet quality and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: Perform hand layup, trimming, vacuum bagging, molding, and finishing of composite materials Prepare materials, complete basic repairs, and follow work instructions Inspect in-process and finished products using measurement tools Maintain accurate records, work orders, and time tracking Keep work area clean and organized Qualifications: Manufacturing experience preferred Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, hand dexterity, and communication skills Basic math and computer skills preferred Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs.; frequent bending, pushing, and pulling Stand or walk for 8-12 hour shifts Work Environment: Indoor manufacturing setting (may not be temperature-controlled) Exposure to noise, machinery, and contaminants Short Staffed Inc
