And other future locations of WHC.Full-time employees must work 3 self-scheduled weekend shifts a month OR choose an on-call weekendPart-time employees must work 2 self-scheduled shifts a month or choose an on-call weekendMust work 2 self-scheduled holidaysHow you’ll impress us:You will be willing to work in a team environmentYou will be reliable and attend scheduled shiftsYou will ensure resident's rights are adhered toYou will coordinate the preparation and planning of resident admission; giving proper recognition to the real and potential contribution of family and others in planning nursing careYou will accurately administer all medications, treatments, and physician orders; taking ultimate responsibility for resident careYou provide for the emotional and physical comfort and safety of residents and emotional support to familiesYou can assist with supervising, assisting, consulting with, and teaching certified nursing assistantsWhat you will need:A positive attitudeReliable transportationMust possess a current active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Iowa.Experience/ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.Prior LPN experience is preferred, but not required.If you, or someone you know, would be a good fit for this opportunity within Western Home Communities- we would love to talk!Western Home Communities is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC).
