We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Clove Lakes Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, a premier healthcare facility on Staten Island, NY. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional service to our residents and their loved ones, ensuring their overall well-being and satisfaction.
Full-Time 12:30p to 8:30p
Part-Time 3:30p to 8:30p
Rate $26.02 PH

Key Responsibilities
- Meal preparation — Assist with preparing and plating meals following standardized recipes and resident diet orders, including therapeutic, texture-modified, and allergen-restricted diets.
- Meal service — Serve meals in the dining room or deliver trays to resident rooms, ensuring correct portions, temperatures, and presentation.
- Dietary compliance — Verify trays against diet cards and communicate any concerns or changes in resident dietary needs to nursing or dietary staff.
- Sanitation & cleaning — Wash dishes, clean kitchen surfaces, sanitize equipment, and maintain a safe, hygienic food-service environment following infection-control standards.
- Inventory support — Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to minimize waste.
- Record keeping — Maintain accurate logs of meals served, temperatures, and special diet requirements.
- Team communication — Coordinate with dietary staff, nurses, and care teams to support resident nutrition plans.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in a nursing home or healthcare food-service setting preferred.
