Clinical Specialist, Interventional Solutions - Northern, NJ

Additional Location(s): US-NJ-Northern This position is an Interventional Solutions Clinical Specialist role, responsible for providing clinical support and training to physicians and staff in the catheterization lab. About the role The Clinical Specialist promotes company products within a defined geographic territory, expands product usage across current accounts, and meets sales quotas based on company sales goals. Your responsibilities will include: Assist in execution of a proactive regional plan that includes clinical, sales, and service support to improve market share and quality of service. Serve as the primary resource for clinical support, case coverage, basic troubleshooting, specialty product usage, and customer training. Attend cases in customer accounts and advise physicians on clinical attributes and techniques associated with our coronary products, and represent the Interventional Solutions field organization during designated BSC clinic lab days. Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products through presentations and demonstrations using various formats and platforms. Provide supplemental training support during product launches and for high‑touch specialty products. Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service, developing creative solutions and coordinating with related personnel. Manage consignment inventory, perform semiannual audits, and handle expired product returns. Ensure timely collection and reporting of all required medical documentation related to procedural device operation. Support the Quality Policy by building quality into all aspects of work and maintaining compliance with quality requirements. Live within the assigned geographic territory. Required qualifications BA/BS required or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales, healthcare industry, or clinical setting. Strong technical aptitude and ability to discuss and explain complex technical product information. Ability to work flexible hours and travel when needed. Strong business acumen and strategic problem‑solving skills. Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers, including all BSC divisions. Preferred qualifications Clinical work experience in cardiology within the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry. Prior experience supporting interventional cardiology procedures in a catheterization lab or hybrid OR environment. Demonstrated success in a customer‑facing field role within a medical device company focused on cardiovascular or interventional solutions. Familiarity with intravascular imaging technologies (e.g., IVUS, iLab) and atherectomy systems (e.g., Rotablator). Strong presentation and training skills, delivering product education to physicians, nurses, and lab staff.
