Within the Labor & Delivery setting, the RN Educator, Labor & Delivery will support a highly successful birthing center and maternity services team while enjoying the resources of a comprehensive health system with strong academic affiliations and specialty expertise. Responsibilities Provide focused educational programs for Labor & Delivery staff. Coordinate annual competency assessments. Onboard and mentor new team members. Develop and revise newborn and perinatal policies. Monitor regulatory compliance. Champion initiatives that improve patient safety and the overall patient experience. Qualifications Active North Carolina RN license. Current BLS certification. Minimum of five years of experience in Maternal Child Health, NICU, or Pediatrics. Advanced nursing degree and specialty certifications in perinatal nursing and clinical education are highly preferred.
