Primary Responsibilities Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and assure proper file identification on all images Greet patients, obtain history, and enter information into computer system Perform x-rays at the optimal quality Demonstrate patient care; protect patient as much as possible from excessive radiation Provide coverage as needed (i.e., in the event of call outs or extended patient schedules) Provide instruction/mentoring to new hires Perform procedures in compliance with Standards of Care, facility and regulatory requirements, and ARRT Standards of Ethics Maintain quality standards as it relates to HIPAA regulations Demonstrate a positive experience; share information with patients, provide knowledge about the procedure, and ensure they are aware of follow-up steps and requirements Review each examination for technical accuracy, present completed examinations to radiologist, and communicate pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of patients following the procedure You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications Associates degree or BS in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine ARRT certified 1+ years of experience as a general Radiologic Technologist Preferred Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent New York Residents Only The hourly range for New York residents is $23.22 to $45.43 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
